About the course:
The IAB Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping is designed for those who have little or no experience of finance, and those who may be looking for a change in career. Candidates will learn the basics of Business routines and this will enable them to progress onto Level 2 with confidence.
Introduction to bookkeeping:
Keep double entry records and prepare a trial balance
What are the entry requirements?
No formal qualifications, however, learners are advised to have basic Math and English skills.
Online Knowledge Test – these tests are a series of independent short answer questions made up of multiple choice, gap fill, and true or false type questions.
Online Assignments – these are taken in class or at home and are short case study type questions with several tasks for each case study.
Qualification: Certificate in Book Keeping Level 1
Exam Board: International Association of Book-keepers (IAB)
Course Mode: Part Time
Available Session: Day/evening
Duration: 8 weeks
Start Date: Every 2 months
Successful candidates can progress to Level 2 or can gain employment.
