About the course:
This is a one year course leading to Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care. The course is designed to equip students to successfully work and manage Health and Social Care organisations.
The course consists of mandatory and optional units. The programme pathways are tailored to the student’s work role and work setting. Students must achieve a minimum of 58 credits.
To qualify for this award you must achieve the following units.
Awarding Board: Innovate
Entry Requirement: Level 2 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent. You may need to complete initial assessment in numeracy and literacy.
Assessment Method: Internally/Externally Assessed.
This competency–based qualification is designed to be assessed in the candidate’s workplace as they undertake their normal work role. The evidence must at all times reflect the policies and procedures of the workplace as informed by current legislation, the relevant codes of conduct and service standards for the sector.
Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Progression Route: Learners can progress within their organisation onto a more senior position or go onto Higher Education. Students can also progress to study Adult Care Level 4 Diploma depending on their job role e.g. Assistant or Managers and Senior Team Leaders.
Course Mode: Part-time/ Full Time
Duration: Up to 12 Months
Start Dates: The Diploma course can be studied at any time during the year, however, it is subject to the number of students.
