About the course:
The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services is a qualification designed to give learners the opportunity to build both managerial and care skills. It fulfils the regulatory requirement for those looking to become managers of children's homes or adult’s residential and domiciliary services. This qualification is for those already working in health and social care, assistant or deputy managers or managers who have not yet achieved a vocational qualification at this level.

The majority of assessment will be work-based, using real experiences, written assessments and observations by a qualified assessor.

Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (England).
Course Duration: The course lasts for approximately 12 - 14 months. This varies due to the level of support required for each learner and previous experience.
Course Mode: Part time
Start Dates: The Diploma course can be studied at any time during the year, however, this is subject to the number of students.
Students may use this qualification to further progress onto Foundation degree and BA.
