About the course: This is a one year course leading to Level 3 Diploma in Health & social care. The course is designed to equip students to successfully work and manage health and social care organisations

 

Course Structure:

The course consists of mandatory and optional units. The programme pathways are tailored to the students work role and work setting. Students must achieve a minimum of 58 credits. To qualify for this award you must achieve the following units.

28 credits from the mandatory units in Group A

A minimum of two credits and a maximum of seven credits must be achieved from Group B

A minimum of 23 credits must be achieved from Group C

  • The role of the health and social care worker
  • plan meetings and events
  • Person centred approaches in health and social care


  • Exam Board: EDI

    Entry Requirement: level 2 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent. You may need to complete initial assessment in numeracy and literacy.

    Assessment Method: Internally/Externally Assessed.

    Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care

    Progression Route: Learners can progress within their organisation in to a more senior position or go onto Higher Education. Student could also progress to study Level 5 Leadership and Management depending on their job role e.g. Assistant or Managers and Senior Team Leaders.
