Access to HE course is for learners (19+) who have been out of full-time education for various reasons and do not have the qualifications required to enter any university to study their dream course of becoming a nurse.

This course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to progress onto any degree programme of your choice in Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the following qualification certificate: Access to HE Diploma (Nursing and Midwifery).

Learners will study a range of topics, including

• Human Body – Discover facts about the human body, from the way we reproduce to how our organs function and the way our cells grow and divide

• Health Care provision – Understand the NHS’s founding principles and how it has been shaped over time 
•  
• Roles and Responsibilities of a Nurse – Learn about the purpose and function of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), as well as the multidisciplinary approach to healthcare 
•  
• Study skills - This will help you develop the study skills required for  university, which is perfect for those who have been out of education for some time.

Blended learning.  Classes will be held two days a week ( Monday and Tuesday ) and additional one day online workshop. This will enable you to complete your programme with ease and work around your other commitments, be it a full-time job or Childcare.
